FOUNDATION
Launched on May 10, 2025, the UBiG Women’s Empowerment initiative aims to support , uplift, and empower women ages 18-35 by providing educational resources, mentorship, and community engagement opportunities. This program will be housed under United Barbadians in Georgia (UBiG) and serve as a transformative platform for women seeking personal and professional growth.
The mission of the program is to foster a community of empowered women through education, mentorship, and access to essential resources. We believe, by equipping women with the tools to succeed, we contribute to stronger families and communities.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
1. Entrepreneurship & Career Development
Provide women with access to professional development, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship training.
2. Health & Wellness
Support women’s health and wellness, including mental health awareness and self-care initiatives.
3. Parenting & Family Support
Offer parenting and family support services to assist mothers in balancing career and family life.
4. Community building
Build a strong community network of women supporting women.
5. Advocacy & Legal Resources
Educate women on their legal rights, immigration policies, and available advocacy resources.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
This initiative is designed to be a transformative movement for women within the UBiG community.
We invite stakeholders, sponsors, and volunteers to join us in building a stronger, more empowered future for women.
